What is Scrip?
Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families don't have to sell anything. When you buy Scrip cards, you're buying gift cards that are used just like cash. You can use Scrip to purchase everyday expenses like groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, gasoline and more. With every card purchase, you earn revenue for our school and for you! Because Scrip is purchased with cash up front, the retailers offer a substantial discount. St. Eugene buys the Scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount and resells the cards at face value.
How do I purchase Scrip?
Purchasing Scrip is very easy. Families can purchase a limited supply of cards in the school office during office hours. In addition, to guarantee the availability of your cards and to order cards from any of the hundreds of retailers available, orders can be placed online at www.shopwithscrip.com. There are also many reloadable cards available that will be sent to you electronically within 24 hours. Online orders and payments must be received by 10am each Monday morning and your cards will be available (for pick-up or sent home with your child) that Friday. When ordering online, you may also choose to pay via PrestoPay and have your payment automatically deducted from your bank account. Setting up an account takes only a few minutes and requires very little information.
How do I register for online ordering?
To register with ShopWithScrip, visit www.shopwithscrip.com. To register a new account, go to the green Family Sign Up box on the left side, and click “Create Account”. Follow the simple registration instructions and accept the terms and conditions of using the site. Select two challenge questions and provide answers. These answers will be required if you forget your password. They are case-sensitive. Before you can place an order, you must enter our organization’s enrollment code (F78D6DCA4521). By associating this code with your newly created account, the ShopWithScrip system will correlate your shopping activity with our non-profit organization.
