Dear St. Eugene community and visitors,

Greetings! I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of St. Eugene School.

I have spent many years of my life in various schools around the Milwaukee area. I attended Marquette, where I studied Spanish and Education and was able to spend my junior year abroad in Madrid, Spain. Upon graduating from M.U., I became a Claretian Volunteer for 3 years, 2 of which were in Guatemala. There, I lived in a room above the parish offices and worked with the village schoolteachers and citizens of the town of Livingston. I earned Masters’ degrees from UW-Madison (Social Work) and M.U. (Educational Leadership and Policy). I have served as a Spanish Teacher, Dean of Students, and as Principal at Wauwatosa Catholic School. Principal is my preferred role as I can flex my communication and analytic thinking skills. I especially enjoy creating lasting relationships in our greater Catholic community.

I am thankful for your prayers and for this opportunity. I look forward to to meeting all of you and continuing St. Eugene School’s excellent legacy.

Many blessings,
Nicolle Schroeder, Principal

Welcome to St. Eugene School!

We are a school that has been recognized by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as exemplary. Our Catholic faith is the heart of our school.  As a Catholic school we strive daily to live the Gospels through prayer, study, and service.

When you step inside our school, you’ll quickly feel the warmth of the community and witness the kindness of our students. Students are curious, teachers are dedicated, and parents are supportive.  It is in this context that we are able to live out our mission.

Within a Catholic community, St. Eugene School helps children grow in faith, character, and service, builds a foundation of academic excellence, and promotes the development of the whole child.
